{"id":189,"date":"2014-08-28T18:13:18","date_gmt":"2014-08-28T18:13:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sgtworld.com\/birding\/?p=189"},"modified":"2015-10-09T07:34:29","modified_gmt":"2015-10-09T07:34:29","slug":"flock-of-canada-geese","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.birdingblog.co.uk\/index.php\/2014\/08\/28\/flock-of-canada-geese\/","title":{"rendered":"Flock Of Canada Geese"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A couple of weeks ago, my family and I were having a picnic in our car at a local nature reserve, <a title=\"Lopwell Dam Review\" href=\"http:\/\/plymouthandbeyond.co.uk\/destination.php?&amp;id=32#.U_3LZ_mwKHg\" target=\"_blank\">Lopwell Dam,<\/a> when we were astonished to see well over 100 Canada Geese fly over within a 10 minute time period.<\/p>\n<p>They didn&#8217;t all fly at once but more like in &#8216;squadrons&#8217; in their traditional &#8216;V&#8217; shape, squawking as they went.
